A Special Kind of Caring

Since 1977, Hospice of the Conejo has been dedicated to serving East Ventura County and the Conejo Valley as a community-based non-profit, non-medical volunteer hospice and grief support center.

OUR PROGRAMS

At Hospice of Conejo, we believe that life is precious and should be treated with the utmost care. Our Legacy Hospice program, No One Dies Alone vigil program, Grief Support sessions, and all of our remaining programs are designed to bring comfort, care, dignity and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses and grief. Whether you are facing a life-limiting illness, giving care to someone who is, have lost a loved one, or maybe just need a little support, guidance or even a little cheer, we’re here for you and ready to offer the support and care you deserve.

Volunteer

Imagine: making a difference by simply showing up. Through our volunteer programs, you can do exactly that!

You will receive specialized training that will help you develop and understand the philosophy and history of palliative and hospice care. This unique educational regimen prepares you to deal sensitively and compassionately with end-of-life issues and provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to be of service to individuals and families facing life-limiting or terminal illness.

By giving just a couple hours a week, you can make a dramatic impact on an individual’s life. And who knows, your volunteer work might just improve your own life, too.
