Hospice of the Conejo’s Tree of Life stands as a symbol of love and remembrance during the holiday season.
Names of loved ones are written on golden Star ornaments and hung on the Tree of Life from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve. One Tree of Life is inside The Oaks mall and the second is at Gardens of the World (2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.).
Donations received during Tree of Life are used to serve those in our community who are terminally ill, as well as their family members. Our volunteers and therapists provide comfort and healing to those who have lost a loved one.
In December, we collect all the names and read them aloud at a special ceremony held on the outside patio next to The Oaks mall food court. The program includes music, a prayer and light refreshments.
The 2025 Reading of the Names Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. Please join us.
